Over the past couple months, I’ve given an iterative talk (it changes each time a new audiences challenges into the concepts) about Information Services – Library, Records, Knowledge, Archives…all information services, as they have been, are being, and potentially will be delivered by Canadian government departments and agencies. As I’ve worked and met with clients, current and potential, we’ve iterated through an “Information Services” model that makes the old models and paradigms disappear.
After my last presentation at an ARMA NCR gathering a couple weeks ago, I got the sense that the ideas were now mature enough to share more broadly – so here they are. If you have any questions, feedback, or if you’d like to have me in to present and discuss this conceptual model within your organization, send me a note – I’m always looking to evolve the model and my understanding of your work environment.
